About This Certification
The Violin Examinations are designed to nurture strong technical foundations alongside musical sensitivity and expressive performance. Candidates are assessed on posture, bowing techniques, intonation, finger placement, scales, rhythm, sight-reading and musical interpretation. As students progress, the examinations introduce increasingly demanding repertoire, advanced bowing techniques, tonal refinement and greater expressive control.
Beyond Grade 8 - Concert Performance Certification: Concert Performance Certifications are for accomplished candidates who wish to demonstrate a high standard of musical artistry, technical proficiency, interpretation and professional presentation.
